Does my iPad / iPhone / iPod Touch work with Tubular?

Their latest versions as of July 1st 2010 all work fine with Tubular. See the table below for the breakdown of iPad / iPhone / iPod Touch compatibility with Tubuar.

• From Tubular, you can control pause, play, and stop but cannot select next or previous track. *
• From your iPhone and iPod Touch, you can control all: pause, play, stop, next, and previous.

* iPhone and iPod Touch do not fully support AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile). For more details, please refer to Apple's support site.

How do I know that my Bluetooth device is compatible with Tubular?

You can listen to music on Tubular with any Bluetooth-empowered computer or mobile device that supports A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). *

In addition, if your device supports AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile), you can control playback from Tubular, such as play/pause and previous/next track. For more details about your device's Bluetooth compatibility, please refer to its user manual.

* Some mobile devices are partially compatible with A2DP or AVRCP. In those cases, you might not be able to use all playback controls or even pair with Tubular.

How long does it take to charge Tubular?

Tubular needs approximately 2 hours to be fully charged. We recommend that you do not insert a USB hub between your computer and Tubular when charging the battery.

How long can I listen to music on Tubular?

You can enjoy up to 8 hours of playback time and up to 100 hours of standby time with a fully-charged Tubular.

Do I always need to connect the right and left speaker?

When they are connected you can enjoy listening to stereo sound. You may also use only the main speaker (left channel monaural sound).

Can I use the USB connector to sync Tubular with my computer?

The USB connector is only for charging. It cannot communicate with your computer, including syncing.

What is the transmission range?

Tubular can transmit Bluetooth signal up to 32' (10m).

Is Tubular water- or dust-proof?

Although Tubular works great outdoors, it is not designed as water-proof. Please do not use Tubular in humid environment.
